University Delegation Visited America and Canada for Academic Exchange

From January 19 to January 26, Our university delegation led by Wen Deliang, vice president of Dalian Medical University, visited America and Canada, and successfully accomplished the missions. Firstly, this visit further enhanced the cooperation between our university and sister universities and institutions in North America by making clear the key fields and contents of cooperation. Secondly, a preliminary consensus of cooperation has been reached with the University of Virginia School of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center. Thirdly, a cooperation intention to establish North America Physician Training Center at our university has been identified with North American Federation of Iatrology Society. And the delegation had held a career fair targeting the talents in North America and founded the first overseas alumni association. The visit launched a good start to solidly promote and implement all tasks of education internationalization of the university for 2015 and laid a firm foundation for the overall implementation of the education internationalization during “the thirteenth five year”.
