Our University's 2024 Summer Graduation Ceremony for International Students was Successfully Held

On the afternoon of June 26th, the 2024 Summer Graduation Ceremony for International Students of ouruniversitywas grandly held in the lecture hall on the first floor of the library. Vice President Shao Shujuan, Dean of the International Education College Lu Wei, Vice Dean Gao Peng, and all faculty and staff members attended the ceremony. More than 300 graduates and parents of international students attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Dean of the International Education College Gao Peng.

Before the ceremony began, seven students from Sri Lanka performed a warm-up dance called "The Phoenix Dances" for the audience, marking the beginning of the graduation ceremony.

Dean Lu Wei read out the "Dalian Medical University DecisiononDegree Awarding for2024 Summer International Students".

Vice President Shao Shujuan turned the tasselandawardeddegree certificatesfordoctoral students, master's studentsandundergraduate graduates,andthentook photos. Lin Yabo from Chad and Zara from Sri Lanka madea speech as representatives of thegraduating class, expressing their sincere gratitude to their alma mater for nurturing international students. They also stated that, no matter where they arein the future,they will continue tomakecontributionsas alumni of DMU, inherit the spirit of the DMU, tell Chinese stories well, and spread the voice of China.

To commend the advanced individual and set an example, Lu Wei awarded certificates to 5 outstanding graduates.

In the summer of 2024, a total of 118 international students from 33 countries including Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, and Pakistan successfully graduated from ouruniversity. Graduates from all over the world with different skin colors had a wonderful time at the most beautiful DMU. Without saying goodbye after graduation, international students will fully utilize their knowledge and experiences in DMU and China, act as ambassadors for friendly exchanges between China and foreign countries, and contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
