Sino US Cooperation - Professor Don O. Kikkawa, President of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, visits our university again
To further deepen exchanges and cooperation, Professor Don O. Kikkawa, President of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Deputy Director of Shiley Eye Institute, UC San Diego, and Director of the Center for Ophthalmology, was once again invited to visit our university from December 8-13 for a one-week academic exchange and work guidance.
Professor Don O. Kikkawa discussedthe path to cultivating outstanding international medical talents from the aspects of goal setting, mentor guidance, and practical approaches, under the title of "How to Cultivate Excellent International Medical Talents".
In terms of scientific research, Professor Don O. Kikkawa has reviewed and provided guidance on the ongoing project jointly conducted by our university and the Eye Plastic Surgery team at the Shiley Eye Institute, UC San Diego.
In the medical field, Professor Don O. Kikkawa gave a series of lectures on clinical difficulties such as orbital injury repair and reconstruction, and provided consultations and surgical demonstrations on difficult clinical cases.
