Unveiling Ceremony for Sino-US Joint Precision Medical Center

In this June, the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University and the University of California had entered into a Framework Agreement on jointly establishing the first Sino-US Joint Precision Medical Center in Liaoning Province. Since then, substantial progress and development have been made, until the unveiling ceremony for Sino-US Joint Precision Medical Center was recently hosted by the First Affiliated Hospital, which was attended by President Xu Yinghui with the First Affiliated Hospital, our Vice President, as well as Professor Zhang Kun from  the Department of Bioengineering, University of California.


 
Sino-US Joint Precision Medical Center is able to meet the basic conditions for "early tumor screening and cancer treatment with genetic testing", "noninvasive prenatal diagnosis", "common genetic disease screening", "screening for susceptibility to common chronic disease " and other test items, with genetic testing technology to assist and guide clinical diagnosis, precision medication, postoperative recovery and health management.
