The Grand Opening of Matchmaking Symposium for Commercialization of Research Findings initiated by Liaoning Province School-enterprise Innovation Alliance & Dalian Medical University (DMU) Matchmaking Meeting for Medical Technology Achievement

In the afternoon—24th, June, Matchmaking Symposium for Commercialization of Research Findings initiated by Liaoning Province School-enterprise Innovation Alliance & DMU Matchmaking Meeting for Medical Technology Achievement was opened at our university. At the ceremony, Zhou Wanchun, Secretary of DMU Party Committee, had signed a contract for the commercialization of research findings with Liaoning Maiqike S&T Development Co., Ltd., and had also signed an enterprise donation agreement in support of university students' innovation and pioneering, respectively with Liaoning Chengda Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Jiahe Venture Capital Investment Management Co., Ltd..


Among the signing projects, “Five-cereals Soap” is a line of products ready for industrial production by Liaoning Maiqike S&T Development Co., Ltd., with its net sales profit to be distributed between the signing parties. This is also the first case of research finding commercialization in our school history, which will play a leading and demonstrative role in further pushing the industrialization of university research findings. In addition, we have signed a tripartite agreement of intentional share transfer with Biowim (China) Limited and Nuokang Biopharma, which is expected to contribute to the formation of Industry-University-Research-Application Collaborative Innovation Alliance led by Liaoning enterprises this year, as the first case of share transfer in our school history. Preliminary framework agreement on S&T cooperation has also been signed with Lushunkou District Government, in order to further push the commercialization of our research findings across local district, and better serve and contribute to local economic development.

Twenty Liaoning enterprises attended this matchmaking meeting, 7 of them signed an agreement with DMU, including 1 transformation project of substantive S&T achievement, 4 technical service projects of industry-university-research, and 2 enterprise donation projects in support of university students' innovation and pioneering. More than 80 S&T transformations were on display at this matchmaking meeting, 53 of them were technological transferrable and technology-stock based projects; and another 20 were technical service and consultation projects, covering medical equipment, medical consumables, household goods, fodder, food, health food and medicine. In addition, local pharmaceutical companies had expressed their willingness to cooperate in additional 31 projects.
