We Have another National-level Pilot International Cooperation Base, 2015

As the review work for National-level Pilot International Cooperation Base, 2015, draws to an end recently, our“Cancer Therapy and Translational Medicine International Cooperation Base”(led by Liu Qiang), under the recommendation of Liaoning Province Science and Technology Department, through formal examination, review meeting reply and expert review, has been approved by Ministry of Science and Technology – the Department of International Cooperation, as Pilot International Sci-tech Cooperation Base in China. “Cancer Therapy and Translational Medicine International Cooperation Base” is another project getting the approval as Pilot International Cooperation Base in China, following last year’s approval of International Joint Research Centre. Up to now, we have a total of 3 approved international sci-tech cooperation bases.

Despite the approval, there are still a lot of works to do, especially for further boosting the evolvement of an international sci-tech cooperation pattern of“Project-talent-base” and building an international innovation platform possessing leading technology, talent mass and demonstration leading function. We should make full use of our features and advantages to strengthen the horizontal ties among bases, so as to continuously improve innovation ability, gather national-level resources and play a driving and demonstrative role in regional and industrial development.
