We successfully won the First Prize in the 14th “Challenge Cup” Contest of National College Students
On 16th to 20th November, the finals of 14th “Challenge Cup” Contest of National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Technical Works, was held in Guangzhou. Two of our bioscience entries had respectively won the first and third prizes, ranking among the best of all Chinese medical college competitors, setting a record high in the prize-winning history of the three provinces in Northeast China, thus pushing our university up on the ranking list of Chinese University.
Our Entries Won Five Awards including the First-prize, University-level Excellence Organization Prize, etc.
“Challenge Cup” Contest of National College Students’ Extracurricular Academic Technical Works is a nationwide contest of extracurricular academic practice for college students, and most importantly, the "Olympic Games" for Chinese college student’s sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship, which is co-sponsored by Communist Youth League Central Committee, Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, and All-China Students' Federation. Since 2007, college student’s sci-tech innovation has been in a flourishing development at our university, with a growing number of students involved in an extensive area of innovation. As a result, we have reaped 9 awards in nationwide competition, with 6,500 students respectively involved in various competitions, including over 2,100 prize winners in provincial-level contests.
