Zambia Higher Education Loan and Scholarship Committee Delegation Visited Our School

On June 21st, a delegation of nine people including Geoffrey M. Samukonga, Chairman of the Zambia Higher Education Loan and Scholarship Committee, and Floyd K. Ndabulula, Chief Executive Officer, visited our school. The Dean of the International Education College, Lu Wei, Vice Dean Guo Yanqiu, and relevant personnel from the college participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, Dean Lu Wei, on behalf of the college, warmly welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the development history of the school, the development process of the college, and the achievements made in education for studying abroad in China and international medical talent cultivation since its establishment in the past 20 years. Subsequently, Vice Dean Guo Yanqiu gave a detailed introduction to the guests from three aspects: international student enrollment, international student management, and international student cultivation. Next, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on key issues such as Zambian student performance, international student curriculum, scholarships, degree management, cultivation models, and enrollment scale. Chairman Geoffrey M. Samukonga stated that this is his first time leading a delegation to visit Dalian as the first stop of his China trip, he expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception from our school, highly praised the campus environment and the quality of international student cultivation, expressed his willingness to recommend more Zambian students to our school for study, and hoped to have in-depth cooperation with our school in international student cultivation, teacher-student exchanges, and other aspects.
