A delegation from the School of Nursing, Chiba University visited our university

On March 19, Professor Tomoko Majima and Professor Harue Masaki from the School of Nursing, Chiba University visited our university. Vice President Shao Shujuan met with foreign guests and held a ceremony to award the guest professor certificate.

Shao Shujuan first welcomed the visit of Professor Majima and Professor Masaki. She was pleased that Chiba University trained nursing doctoral students returning to work for our university. She hoped that both sides can further improve the internationalization level of the teaching staff and the level of student training through short-term teacher training, joint education and other projects. She stated that this year, the school would establish a Health and Wellness College, which will not only adhere to the advantages of combining Chinese and Western health and wellness disciplines, but also actively absorb the experience of Japanese universities in talent training system construction and other aspects.

Professor Masaki expressed his great honor to be invited to visit and accept the appointment of guest professor. Taking this opportunity, he would have in-depth discussions with the School of Nursing on matters related to joint education. The School of Nursing, Chiba University has a 50 year history of education and is a high-level nursing talent training base in Japan, attaching great importance to cultivating the scientific research and practical abilities of senior nursing talents and hoping to cooperate with universities to cultivate high-level talents to meet the needs of an aging society.

Subsequently, Shao Shujuan issued a guest professor appointment letter to Professor Tomoko Majima and Professor Harue Masaki.

After the meeting, Professor Masaki gave a report titled The Use of Intelligent Technology in Elderly Care to the faculty and students of School of Nursing, and had academic exchanges with them.
