On April 8, Prof.Hong Guang, Associate Dean ofJapanTohoku UniversityGraduate School of Dentistry visited our university and signed an academic exchange and cooperation agreement withourSchool of Stomatology.Vice President Shao Shujuan attended the symposium, accompanied by Lu Wei, Dean of the International Education College (International Exchange and CooperationCenter), Niu Weidong, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Stomatology, Wang Fu, Dean of the School of Stomatology, and other related personnel.

Shao Shujuan expressed her warm welcome to Prof.Hong Guang.Shenotedthat Tohoku Universityis awell-knownuniversityamongthe Chinese peopleasa source of advanced culture and knowledge formodernChineseinternationalstudents, and nowadaysitalso provides excellent young faculty members for the School of Stomatology of Dalian Medical University. Sheexpressed her pleasure in signing the agreement on academic exchanges with the Tohoku UniversityGraduate School of Dentistry, and looked forward to theachievementsof the cooperation in scientific research and student exchanges between the two institutionsin the future.

Prof.Hong Guangintroduced the characteristics and advantages of Tohoku University, as well as its international education programs and projects. Hepointed out that the Graduate School of Dentistry is committed to expanding the circle of exchanges and improving the level of education through cross-disciplinary, industry-academia-research, and international exchanges, etc. The faculty members and students of Dalian Medical University are sincerely invited to participate inactivities such asthe Asia-Pacific Dental Education Society and the winter/summer camps sponsored by the Tohoku University.
