Our International Graduate Students Participated in the First Academic Forum of Belt and Road Ophthalmic Alliance for Development
From February 28 to March 3, the first Academic Forum of Belt and Road Ophthalmic Alliance for Development and Marine Ophthalmologists Forum, the 16th Shanghai Jiaotong University Ophthalmology Forum and other academic activities hosted by Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine were held in Shanghai International Convention Center.
This conference provided free participation opportunities for international graduate students of our university. The International Education College selected international graduate students majoring in ophthalmology from countries such as East Timor, Burundi and other countries to attend the conference. Our outstanding alumnus, the international graduate student from Mauritius named RESHVIN MATOO, was also invited to attend the conference.
This conference also held the first International Eye Health Popular Science Competition in 2025 concurrently. The video Eyes as Big as Copper Bells - Thyroid Eye Disease submitted by our university's international graduate students won the third prize in the videocompetition.
The 2022 master's students, including AL-SABAI NAJEEB ABDULRAHMANAHMED, highly valued and appreciated the valuable learning opportunities provided by the university, which allowed them to broaden their horizons and enhance their medical skills.
