International Students Achieve Excellent Results in “Experience China · Meet Dalian” Competition

Recently, the 3rd “ExperienceChina · Meet Dalian” Overseas Social Media InfluenceCompetition forInternational Students in Chinaconcluded. The event was guided by theDepartment ofPropaganda of Dalian Municipal Party Committee, co-organized by DalianInternational Communication CenterGroup and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, and hosted by Dalian International Communication Center and theInternational EducationCollegeof Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. ALKAWMANI MOHAMMED TALIB FARHOOD (Mu Zhiyan), an Iraqi international student majoring in Clinical Medicine of Grade 2022 in our university, won the first prize. In addition, three other international students of our university won one second prize, one third prize and oneExcellence Award respectively.

Mu Zhiyan’s short video“Charming Dalian: A Journey Through Modern China” whichtakes his personal experience as the clue, showsthe romantic sunset along the coast and the vibrant energy of modern business districts. The camera connects Dalian’s historical heritage with modern charm seamlessly.
