Our International Student Dance Troupe Shines at Dalian Acacia Flower Festival China-Russia Cultural Exchange Day

On May 19, the China-Russia Cultural Exchange Day of DalianAcacia Flower Festivalkicked off at Donggang. Invited by the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Lantai Yayun International Student Dance Troupe of our university took the stage and impressed the audience with the performance“Lantai Yayun: Dancing Together in Splendor”.Through dance, international students conveyed youthful vitality and cultural sentiment, vividly showing the positive, versatile and uplifting spirit of our university’s international students.

Dalian TV stationcovered the whole event. Renee from Sri Lanka said, “This cultural exchange activity is very meaningful. I shared the local customs of Sri Lanka with everyone. We communicated with young friends from different countries and narrowed the distance between each other. I am willing to be a cultural bridge and grow together with everyone in the exchanges.”

The cultural performance at theAcacia Flower Festivalwas not only a wonderful display of international students’ talents, but also a vivid practice of the college’s efforts in deepening international cultural exchanges and promoting friendly interactions between Chinese and foreign youth.
