Our International Students Win Individual Elegance Award at Chinese Bridge Storytelling Contest Northeast Division

Recently, the preliminary round of the 2026 Chinese Bridge Global Chinese Conference for Foreigners: Storytelling Contest successfully concluded at Liaoning University.

Li Zhuying, a Korean international student guided by Ms. Yan Xiaosong from the School of International Education, stood out with her work “The Weight of a Stethoscope” and a sincere speech. Drawing on her personal experience of studying medicine in China, she shared touching stories about Chinese doctor-patient relationships from the perspective of an international medical student, and won the Individual Elegance Award.

Saranan, a Thai international student, presented her work“Using Language as a Bridge and Benevolence as a Lamp”,sharing her insights on growth while studying medicine in China. She vowed to contribute what she has learned to society and serve as a messenger for medical and cultural exchanges between China and other countries, demonstrating the growth and sense of responsibility of our university’s international students.
