Editorial Department
Dalian Medical University established the Editorial Department of Dalian Medical University during the institutional reform in 2010. The establishment of Editorial Department of Dalian Medical University, has been the latest initiative of Dalian Medical University institutional reform. The Editorial Department has been providing convenient conditions for the information communication, resources sharing and coordinated development of the journals, promoting a higher development of the journals, and unifying all journals sponsored and instructed by Dalian Medical University. The Standing Party Committee of the university appointed the leadership of Editorial Department in Oct. 26, 2010, and announced the formal establishment in Nov. 25, 2010.
There are three specialized academic journals in the Editorial Department: Medicine and Philosophy, Chinese Journal of Microecology and Journal of Dalian Medical University.
Medicine and Philosophy was founded in 1980, which is a national academic journal supervised by the China Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by China Society of Studies in Dialectics of Nature, and undertaken by Dalian Medical University. It is semimonthly. Fortnightly it publishes medical articles on humanities, society and law. It is one of the major publications about humanities and social medicine in China. The main audiences for the next fortnightly are clinicians. It is the publication to explore how to provide better clinical decision-making.
Chinese Journal of Microecology was founded in 1989, which is a national academic journal supervised by National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, sponsored by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. It is monthly. The journal publishes the articles of basic and applied research, development and technical methods, results and other aspects about human, animals and plant ecology. It is the only journal in this field in China.
Journal of Dalian Medical University was founded in 1960, and ceased publication in 1965, and then reopened in 1983. It is a bimonthly academic journal reflecting the university’s research and teaching level and sponsored by Dalian Medical University..
The growth and development of the journals, are inseparable with long-term support and care by readers and authors, and the Editorial Department's staff hope to such support can be everlasting or increasing. We enthusiastically welcome contributions.
